CPR and Lemons
Congrats to all the candidates that came out last night to learn first aid and CPR. Remember, your next event will be the Lemon Festival at Girsh Park. There are shifts from Friday through Sunday so check your times and don’t be late.

Now accepting 2008 nominations
The nomination form can be downloaded from this page or directly. You have the option of printing it out and mailing it in or emailing it. If you decide to email, please make sure you have a working mail client and the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Important: To submit the nomination form by email, you must have a default mail client (i.e. Outlook, Outlook Express, Lotus Notes, etc). If you primarily use Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo, simply fill out the form and save it to your computer, then manually attach it to the committee. Alternatively, you can press the print button and mail or fax it in. Full instructions are on the form.

Essays Due Today
Just a friendly reminder that your tickets, essay, and letter of reference are due today at Mike Gartzke's office no later than 4PM today.
Planting Project
Come out and work with Goleta Valley Beautiful to plant 35 trees at Hollister School. Those willing to make an extra effort, please show up at 8 AM to help unload. The end time is just an approximation. All equipment will be provided by GVB but please come in shoes or boots. Those wearing flip-flops will not be able to work.

Interview Tips with Les Esposito
Come to the library tonight to learn important interviewing tips from Les Esposito. This year's talk is geared more towards interviewing and less on presenations.

Lemon Festival
We will be selling cotton candy today and tomorrow at the Lemon Festival, located in Goleta at Girsh Park. Please try not to change your shift and show up on time. We have a corner booth located near the grass, next to Ralphs (booth) and Churros.
